Mystery in the Museum - Tuesday, September 13 & 20 @ 10:00 AM
Students become junior detectives called to the scene of a "robbery" at the 1889 Courthouse Museum. Complete activities and put the clues together to discover who the culprit is! Activities include dusting for fingerprints, analyzing handwriting, collecting evidence, and more!
Folklore & Local Legends - Tuesday, October 11 & 18 @ 10:00 AM
Discover the important part folklore and legends play in our culture and learn about some local legends you may or may not be familiar with. Then, work with classmates to create an original piece of folklore!
Cream City Bricks: The Hard Facts - Tuesday, November 8 & 15 @ 10:00 AM
What makes Cream City bricks so unique? Learn how these beloved bricks were made and why they aren't red like other bricks. After a one-of-a-kind tour of the 1889 Courthouse Museum, students will make a brick of their very own!
History of the Holidays - Tuesday, December 6 & 13 @ 10:00 AM
Why do we decorate trees in December? What is a menorah, and how is it different from a kinara? Discover the origins and traditions of Yule, Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa. Then, make a special decoration with a unique meaning for your family traditions!
